EXPERIENCE

With the focus always being on creating a strong relationship between performer, music and audience. DVNT DRLNG is a multi-disciplinary artist.

They have a wide range of experience DJing and performing live. In the early days, learning their craft as a busker, performing live across Australian cities. They developed a keen sense of reading the energy of a crowd, and curating their sound to match the vibe of the space and audience.

In recent years, stepping into the world of DJing and production. Playing across genres such as, tech house, deep house, garage, dubstep, before finding their home in DnB. They have performed at intimate bush doofs, house parties and self-organised pop-up dancefloors along the coast of Australia.

MUSIC

DRUM & BASS →

Their drum & Bass sound is deviant and moves across rollers, jump up, liquid funk, neurofunk and dancefloor, with a focus on reading the emotional energy in the room, and curating the sound to match the vibe of the venue and audience.

HIP HOP →

Their Hip Hop sound is represented by Darling, it explores the boundaries between traditional rap, modern beats, Jazz influences and raw emotional vulnerability.

TECHNICAL

Technical requirements vary depending on the performance format and venue.

DJ →

DJ performances generally utilise venue-standard DJ equipment. Additional equipment can be discussed for smaller, alternative or unconventional spaces.

LIVE LOOP →

Gear for live performances is generally self-contained, with a small footprint and minimal setup time. While the artist can provide a soundboks speaker, PA system requirements vary depending on the space and audience size and larger spaces may require a venue-provided PA system.

WORKSHOPS →

Workshops are generally self-contained and acoustic. They are suited to 10-20 participants, but can be adapted for larger groups. They require a quiet space, with minimal background noise and an open area for participants to move and interact.
