THE EXPERIENCE
Live Loops is a more unpredictable side of DVNT DRLNG. Instead of simply playing a finished track, elements are built, layered and transformed live.
Bass, rhythm, voice and texture can be looped, manipulated and thrown back into the mix, allowing the performance to respond directly to the energy of the room.
SOUND
IMPROV
Born from busking culture, DVNT DRLNG started out with nothing but a mic and a loop pedal. Skilled in on the spot thinking and audience interaction and participation.
RHYTHM
Beats, percussion and layered rhythmic loops all formed from natural elements in the room.
VOICE
Beatbox, vocals and manipulated sounds become part of the performance.
WHY LIVE?
Every performance can develop differently. Loops can be extended, broken apart, rebuilt or pushed somewhere unexpected depending on the space and the people in it.
It's designed for audiences who want to see something being created in front of them, rather than simply played back.
SPACES
Live Loops can work across intimate venues, alternative spaces, creative events, festivals and unconventional environments.
